MTD is a small manufacturing concern with a staff compliment of twenty. Both Clive's sons and his wife are actively involved in the running of the business, which is based in Faure, near Cape Town in the Western Cape.

Tools are made using mostly toolsteels, powder metallurgy high-speed steels and tungsten carbide.
Apart from the conventional toolroom machines, the company also invested in EDM wire and Die sinking machines.
